Colorado: Denver Botanic Gardens

Last weekend, one of my best friends got married (yay! congrats!) in Denver, Colorado. Though most of the time there was spent wrapped up in wedding activities, we did get the chance to check out the Denver Botanic Gardens.

I think this will garden is now high on the list of gardens I have visited over the years. Its very clean and well maintained. A popular wedding venue (they were setting up one while we were there). Take your camera, because it is also a beautiful spot for an impromptu photoshoot.

The area is divided into areas with themed plants, like the "Lilac Garden", "Japanese Garden", and "Herb Garden", to name a few. It’s like walking through a zoo for plants. I loved it!

Also inside the Botanic Gardens, are a couple cafes, benches, restrooms, and gift shop. So you can easily spend a few hours to half a day here, depending on whether you just want to walk through, or sit and soak in the scenery.

I would highly recommend checking it out if you are in Denver!

Also, incase you are wondering, plenty of Pokemon running around the park, too. I caught my first Pikachu!
