Hawaii: Kualoa Ranch

A few weeks ago, we spent our honeymoon in Hawaii. It was the first time either of us had been there and we loved it!

One of my favorite days included a trip to the Kuala Ranch.

If you haven't heard of it, then let me explain. As a film geek, its one of the coolest places you can visit on the island. It is a working ranch (they raise cattle) and they also lend their land occasionally to film crews for the filming of big movies. They've shot Jurassic Park, Mighty Joe Young, and Lost there, just to name a few.

They offer different tours and activities to check out the sites on their ranch. We chose to go on a horseback riding tour. And it was amazing! Not only was it super awesome to see different sets in real life. But, even on their own, the views are extraordinary!

Pro tip: Its sunny. Wear lots of sunscreen! And anything else you may need to keep from burning.

We had an awesome time that day and even thought about going back & trying a different activity. Definitely a place to check out! If we ever go to Oahu again, we'd stop by again.
